Last Sunday I went to three different BBQ places, Sugarfire, Honeypit, and Dalies. Me and my dad were planning to do this for a couple of days, finally we had the chance to do it. We got a half rack of ribs from each place and their mac & cheese. When we got home, we unpacked everything and set it on the dinner table. The smell of the ribs filled the air, everybody was enjoying it. My dad put three different spices on a plate and told me to identify each spice. He did this so my taste buds will grow to be more sophisticated. If I want to be a food critic in the future, I got to know my spices. Anyways, while we were diving in I was taking notes. Here is what I thought, keep in mind each were splendid and had their own differences.

Sugarfire's ribs are sweet and tender, they obviously live up to their name. Their mac & cheese is more on the traditional side, being very cheesy. When I first tried the ribs my first reaction was " Oooh, that's sweet"

Dalies ribs were smokey and seasoned well, the glaze made them look juicy. I loved that their mac & cheese had bread crumbs on them, it added a nice flavor to it.

Honeypit had very tender ribs, they were falling off the bone. Their BBQ sauce compliments the ribs. Their mac & cheese had a creamy sensation, I think it’s unique that they use white cheese on them.

So as you can imagine our bellies were full, and our smiles were up to our ears. It was a great afternoon. So that was my take on all of these places, I'm definitely visiting them again.

What is your favorite place?
