On Saturday morning my family decided to go out. But where? Well, we can go to the Kirkwood Farmer's market and then head out to Meramec Caverns, afterwards we can eat. What an excellent idea!

That's what we did.

Of course while we were there, we had to get Honey Bees biscuits.

On the left is the sausage, egg and cheese sammie, to the right is a bacon, egg and cheese sammie. On the bottom is the everything biscuit with gravy on top.

Along with biscuits, we got teleo coffee. As always the coffee was great.

Pictures aren't always right first try, aren't they?

Next we spotted Rust In Bloom! This truck offers very nice flowers so you can make your own bouquet! I love the rustic aesthetic the truck has. I picked Hydrangea(my favorite flower), two different roses, and a lily for my bouquet.

Afterwards we went to Meramec Caverns! Our tour ended up to be a personnel tour, but the next group had like 50 people. I wonder how that happened?

My favorite part was this spot here, me and my dad were saying that the bottom two stalagmites look like elephants. Don't you think?

Finally we went to DKI Homecookin' & Steakhouse formerly known as Du Kum Inn Restaurant.

I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, sweet carrots and cottage cheese(it's not in the picture, sorry)

This was a great meal after having a long day. LOVED the gravy on the mashed potatoes and strangely I also really liked the sweet carrots. The fried chicken was crispy and finger lickin' good.

They also have some very very crispy fried pickles. If you want crispy stuff, come to this place.

It was a great family day! I wish we could do stuff like this all the time!
