Welcome everybody! I am sitting here unsure of what to write, well, I guess I'll write about why I wanted to start this blog. For the past several months or so it has been my dream to become a food critic. I discovered that food critics usually write down their experience with food in different ways, they may write cookbooks, journals, or blogs. I thought, since I want to become a food critic I need to work on my writing skills, but I realized two fundamental truths at the exact same time.
I am not experienced enough to write a cookbook
I do enough journaling as is
With these truths I decided to start a blog.
So, let's start off with this amazing food blog. While I'm sitting here writing this, I am near ending the Daniel fast. The past couple weeks I have been in love with smoothies. What about we make delicious smoothies together?
For today's smoothie I put together some things I had in my pantry. I am real happy how it turned out, you should give it a try!
Ingredients:
I sliced up banana
1 1/2 tablespoon of dates
1 teaspoon of sugar free vegan chocolate
3/4 cup of mixed frozen fruit (I used a strawberry, peach, mango and pineapple mix)
1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
Optional: top with some ground pistachios
